Further upstream we anchor in shallow waters surrounded by a unique landscape where only silence and a few birds will keep us company! The perfect moment to try our special ‘Rosé’ from ‘Quinta do Vallado’, a single variety ‘Touriga Nacional’. To accompany it, some delicious ‘Bolinhos de Bacalhau’, in true Portuguese flavour. We continue along the famous river beach ‘Praia da Lomba’ with its picturesque hillside houses. Just in time to savour a white wine from the Douro with a peculiar grape variety: ‘Moscatel Galego’ accompanied by the world-famous ‘Portuguese canned Sardines’! On our way back, Portuguese charcuterie is served alongside a magnificent red wine from ‘Casa Ferreirinha’, one of the most prestigious estates in the Douro.
