The tour consists of an experiential activity in Finca Agropecuaria Queveri. It consists of going to the paddocks of the farm, and herding the cattle (with the support of Queveri staff) all the way to the old dairy. While doing it, you can enjoy the views and learn about the importance of the place. If the weather let us do so, the tour is going be completed with a visit to the viewpoint, where you can see the volcanic mountain range of Costa Rica (Poás Volcano, Barva Volcano, Irazú Volcano, and Turrialba Volcano) and Tapanti National Park. At the viewpoint, you can visit the Piedras del Alto and mark them with your name to remember that you were there.

The Tope tour consists of an experiential activity in Finca Agropecuaria Queveri. It consists of going to the paddocks of the farm, and herding the cattle (with the support of Queveri staff) all the way to the old dairy. While doing it, you can enjoy the views and learn about the importance of the place. Finally, we will have lunch at La Fonda del Alto, a small restaurant ran by the owners, where Costa Rican food is served in 4 courses (entrée (soup/cream), fresh salad, main course, and dessert, -the latter is courtesy of the house); all of them are prepared with fresh local products.

Please set the route from Cartago or from Orosi downtown, since the application could send you through alternative routes that would not work for you if set too late. The last 4km are a dirty road. Always going up in the hill.

Absolutely heartbreaking!

What an absolutely incredible experience! This place is truly breathtaking. The horseback ride took us through the most stunning scenery, and the horses were calm, gentle, and so well cared for—it made the whole experience unforgettable. We booked completely by chance, and it turned out to be the best culinary experience of my life. Heartfelt horseback riding trip in dreamlike nature with great people

The riding trip on Finca Queveri was an all-round beautiful experience. Very warm people who take their time and share a lot of exciting knowledge about wildlife and animal research in the area. The horses are calm, loving and obviously very well maintained. You feel safe and well accompanied at all times. The landscape is impressive and the ride pleasantly relaxed. Great tour

Wonderful day with super hosts. The weather was perfect, just like our horses. The view and tranquility wonderful. We would definitely come back.

Horsebackriding for the entire family!

We arrived at the finca with no issues, thanks to the signs. The way was steep, but the views more than make up for it. I was traveling with three littles kids and they absolutely loved the tour. The horses were super tame and used to people. My four-year-old niece rode in the same saddle as I and she had a blast, even singing to the horses as we rode through the mountains.

Best ever horseback riding tour! Jungle and mountains with easy to ride horses. The best deal! We added the homemade dinner with the freshest ingredients from their farm. Incredibly friendly owners.
