Riverside & Leslieville – a food and walking experience through two of Toronto’s most character-filled east-end neighbourhoods. Your adventure begins in Riverside, one of Toronto’s oldest communities, where heritage buildings, the Queen Street bridge, and a vibrant food scene set the stage. From there, we wander into Leslieville, a laid-back district once defined by factories, now beloved for its tree-lined streets, indie cafés, and some of the city’s best eateries. Every stop on this tour is a true neighbourhood favourite—no chains, no tourist traps. You’ll step inside local hot-spots, taste dishes crafted with care, and hear the stories behind the food. And to top it off? A chance to sip one of the area’s famous local brewery beers. With plenty to taste and time to explore, you’ll leave satisfied but not stuffed, and with a genuine feel for two neighbourhoods where old Toronto charm meets bold, creative flavours.

Awesome tour

Excellent tour. Our group had certain food allergies restrictions and needed wheel chair access and Maya was able to plan the tour around those restrictions. The food was excellent and by the end of the tour you definitely won't be hungry. Maya knowledge of the local history was very interesting.

Nothing negative, recommended.

Good experience, Maya was friendly made you feel welcome. Very knowledgeable of the area and the food and drink Tastings very good. Pastry, pizza, Beer, Bread. They all went down well.

A Perfect Blend of History, Street Art & Incredible Local Food

We had an amazing time on the Riverside & Leslieville Walking and Food Tour with Maya! She is truly a one-woman powerhouse. She has thoughtfully designed the walking route, taking you through vibrant mural alleys, past historic buildings, and sharing fascinating stories about the neighborhood’s history along the way. Best Mother's Day outing on Fathers Day with friends,sampling delicious food sprinkled with tid bits of local history

It was great going around the riverside neighborhood with Maya. She provided interesting details on the neighborhood history and ensured the food stops are local, food is awesome and establishments had stories of their own.
