Next, we’ll stroll to the heart of our experience: La Cueva del Pirata, a hidden gem and our favorite rum store in all of Puerto Plata. This extraordinary spot is more than just a shop; it’s a journey through time. Here, you'll uncover the captivating history of rum and the legendary pirates who once roamed the shores of Puerto Plata. But the real fun begins when you get to taste! You’ll have the chance to choose four shots from an exclusive selection of over 50 unique, locally crafted rums, each with its own story and flavor, all while enjoying a few tasty snacks on the side. At the same location, we’ll also dive into the world of premium Dominican cigars. You’ll learn what makes them so special, and even get to pick one exclusive cigar to enjoy from a wide variety of top-quality options.
