Dinner happens at the pork BBQ restaurant featured on "Anthony Bourdain: Parts Unknown" by the same team who took him there. Charcoal-grilled pork and aged kimchi are the whole point. Your host walks you through BBQ and drinking etiquette while you take in the atmosphere of a spot that's stayed exactly as gritty and good as it was on TV. From there, you'll pass through a pigs' feet market and a pancake market before ending the night in a classic Korean pub, enjoying pancakes and other pub grub while getting a crash course on traditional Korean beverages. Upgrade to the Three Stops option for a final stop at an old-school fried chicken pub, crispy chicken and cold beer to close out the night. Subway is the best way to arrive at the meeting point. Taxis tend to get stuck in traffic.
If you’re landing after 3 p.m., you may not make it in time. Please anticipate bottlenecks and traffic. Unfortunately, this has happened a lot.

The best experience we had in Seoul!

The best experience we had in Seoul, and it was worth every single moment! Joe, the founder, guided us personally and was super welcoming and friendly. He's the same person who took Anthony Bourdain to this BBQ spot, and his stories about Korean food and culture made the night even more special. The Mapo-style pork BBQ was amazing, the pancake market was a lovely surprise, and the hidden traditional pub with makgeolli was the perfect way to end the evening. A great food experience

We enjoyed a great evening Ron, starting with Korean pork barbecue and moving on to fried chicken and beer. The food was delicious and Ron was very good company answering all our questions about Korean food and culture.

Fantastic personal tour with our guide, Young. She was fun and showed us how to navigate Korean BBQ like a local. She also shared many traditions and cultural customs. This experience made us confident exploring more on our own. The metro meeting location was convenient and easy to get to on the metro. Recommend you come hungry.
