A premium, all inclusive version of the Vallarta101 pay what you want taco walk. A relaxed morning or afternoon of chatting, learning about local finger foods and eating delicious authentic tacos. A (very) filling taco meal with a local friend. You´ll learn the history of tacos and how tacos are prepared and eaten around Mexico. We will visit up to 5 different taco spots in the central and south neighborhoods. You'll be able to taste 5 to 10 different tacos and many salsas and toppings. It's the most popular breakfast or lunch tacos in the city, the ones we locals often eat. Plus, drinks and dessert. And lot's of fun. We'll visit street stands and small taco eateries, all of them family businesses. We will also visit a corn tortilla factory! After our walking and eating session, you will feel more connected to the fabulous local taco scene and you will be more than ready to continue exploring on your own with more knowledge and confidence. I will also show you additional spots that you can visit later on and give you lots of extra info on how to make your vacation more enjoyable. Enjoy Vallarta by the hand of a proud local. And do not miss Taco102 and Taco103!

Recommend the Taco Tour!

Easy walking tour and a great chance to eat your fill of a variety of authentic Mexican tacos. Memo was so knowledgeable and made sure to include every member of our multi-generation group in his comments. It’s obvious he’s a respected member of the community and knows the restaurants well. We ate at two sit-down places that were busy with local customers and two sidewalk taco stands, also with lots of local customers. Great, fun experience and delicious food!

We started with breakfast at El Campanario, a charming small restaurant with really good food. Memo gave us a lot of interesting information about the town and its history. He also took us away from the "tourist-y area," up some steep hills and stairs to a largely residential area with great look-out points. He was professional, informative and very engaging. Memo was a great guide...

Memo was a great guide and the food was excellent. Our group was comprised of grandparents, parents and kids aged 8-12. The tour and the walk was easily manageable for everyone.
