On this West Kelowna wine tour, you will visit some of the best wineries the Okanagan Valley offers, each with award-winning wines and breathtaking views of local vineyards and Okanagan Lake. Tour and enjoy wine tastings at 5 wineries on this tour. Wineries on this tour may include Crown & Thieves, Frind, Mt Boucherie, Indigenous World, Black Swift, Quails Gate, The Hatch, Volcanic Hills, Off the Grid and Rollingdale. Metropolis Wine Tours encourages guests to dress up in costumes! Pick a theme and go for it. As one of our guests commented, "If you are looking for a High Octance FUN wine tour, this is it!". Halloween is not the only day to dress in costume! For Example - International Talk like a Pirate day is on September 19th. Metropolis Wine Tours also offers a "WIN THE DRAW" contest. The 160 acres of incredible soil we call home sits below the extinct volcano of Mount Boucherie. Its deposits work like a time release capsule. Black Swift Vineyards

Black Swift Vineyards and Screaming Frenzy came about when we were spit-balling winery concepts at our production facility in Peachland in 2014. We wanted something that celebrated our vineyards and amazing growers, but also wanted something that in an industry full of snobbery, didn’t take itself too seriously. We jokingly started to throw around bird names, as the hatch is located right beside Quails Gate, we had a long list of Native Okanagan birds in front of us, looking for something to jump off the page. Black Swift made the shortlist, and after a little research, it became clear to us this was the name! There were two aspects in particular that we loved. There was the fact that the Black Swift lays only one egg at a time which was a perfect analog to our single-vineyard focused releases, and also that a group of Black Swift birds is known as a “Screaming Frenzy” what a fantastic name for anything!

A must tour to see the sites of Kelowna.

Couldn’t be more prepared for our small group of four. The tour is very personalized and conscious of the experience of all wineries in West Kelowna. Made sure to keep us on time, but also be able to experience every winery that we stopped at, took us to a fantastic restaurant for lunch and had a full seven hour day of wine, tastings, and experiencing the sites of Kelowna.

Amazing Wine Tour

Amazing day. The views from the wineries were wonderful . Chris who was our driver was great, full of information about Kelowna, the wineries and anything we wanted to know. Would recommend this company for anyone who wants to do a winery tour.

Kelowna Wine tastings Tour
