Essential Xi'an Private Day Tour will take you to see the highlights of Xi'an's most important attractions including Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum, Big Wild Goose Pagoda, the City Wall, Bell and Drum Towers Square, Muslim Market, and the optional Tang Dynasty Dinner Show. At 8 o'clock in the morning, your private tour guide and driver will be waiting to pick you up at the lobby of your hotel and take you for an approximately one hour ride to visit Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum. Named the eighth wonder of the world and greatest excavation in the 20th century, this on-site museum boasts thousands of life-sized terracotta warriors and horses sculptures created by ancient Chinese in Qin Dynasty for more than 2,000 years ago. Later, you have have an opportunity to try some authentic Chinese food for lunch catering to the locals at a nearby restaurant. After lunch break, you will be chauffeured back to the city to visit Big Wild Goose Pagoda which is an historical imperial Buddhist temple built to store important sutras and relics brought back from India by the high monk of Tang Dynasty, Xuanzang. Next, visit the marvel of ancient Chinese engineering of 600 hundred years old City Wall built in Ming Dynasty for panoramic views of Xi'an. Later, stroll along the Bell and Drum Towers Square and local Muslim Market to experience local lifestyle. At the end of the tour, you will be transferred back to your downtown Xi'an hotel. Optional evening activity of Tang Dynasty Dinner Show is available at additional cost. The is the most splendid and unique musics and dances show that recreates the life of imperial court. A Chinese dumpling dinner with a variety of different dumpling fillings and shapes will be served prior to the show.

A Wonderful Day with Kathy

We had a wonderful day with Kathy visiting the Terracotta Warriors and the emperor’s mausoleum. She was so enthusiastic and knowledgeable, and her explanations really brought the history and exhibits to life. What made our time with her especially memorable was how much we learned beyond the sites themselves. She shared so much about China, its culture, and its people, giving us a deeper appreciation of the country we were visiting. Guide extraordinare Kathy for Xi'an tours

Kathy is extremely knowledgeable about Xi'an and it's history. She is kind, patient and full of energy, with good communication skills. Her service is extraordinary. She also made ground arrangements for my tour in Chengdu and communicated my requirements to the local guide and drivers there as well as helped me to buy the train ticket and also made last minute changes to accommodate me. The whole experience was beyond expectations, you must take the opportunity to see the Terracotta arm and visit Xi’aan.

We were met at the airport, transported by air conditioned people carrier to lunch, Kathy helped us choose some amazing local options including biang biang noodles, then on to see the Terracotta Army. Definitely the 8th wonder of the world. Later we visited Xi’an where Kathy brought its rich Dynasty history alive for us on the 13.74km long city wall. Marvellous trip in Xi’an

We had a great experience on our private tour with Kathy. Her service and communication were excellent throughout.
