Ishikawa 一日遊

Our guide, Nicola, did a great job explaining the Geisha district and its history and culture. He appropriately adapted the pace for our mobility-challenged guest. The family-run izakaya for dinner had tasty, local food and sake. I would recommend!

Jorge speaks 4 major languages and knows the backstreets of Kanazawa. Amiable, entertaining, and flexible. Will adapt to customers’ needs. He has very interesting and thorough information. Suggestions: carry a flashlight and be able to walk a lot. Food was a different preparation and good example of Japanese cuisine.

The host Tetsuro was very knowledgeable with the history of Japan especially Kanazawa we came away having learnt so much about this beautiful culture. No geisha seen but learnt a lot about them too. Ended the tour with a traditional Japanese dinner which was so beautifully presented.
