Wonderful experience with Aki learning more about Japanese food and drink culture, with tons of delicious food in establishments that truly felt local. We were also super grateful for him working around a gluten sensitivity and saw that he was attentive to various food preferences amongst our group. Learned about the Ueno area and had an all around fantastic time!

We had a fantastic time at this ramen cooking class and really loved the concept. Cooking together in a Japanese home kitchen made the experience feel authentic, personal, and very different from a typical cooking workshop. Nahoko is a very warm and welcoming host who created a relaxed atmosphere from the beginning and explained every step clearly. She also shared interesting background information about ramen, the ingredients, and the techniques, which made the class even more meaningful. The course was hands-on, well organized, and enjoyable throughout. We all enjoyed it very much and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for an authentic and memorable cooking experience.

The cooking class was a great experience! Kaori was a great host. She picked us up at the train station and showed us around in a grocery store to see all the ingredients. Then we drove to her house, a great extra addition and atmosphere to be cooking at someone’s home in Japan. The food was truly delicious ; one of the best ramen I ever had! Great addition to your travel itinerary if you’re into food.
