This was, by far, one of the best dining experiences I've ever had. As a true sushi and omakase fan, I make it a point to try various venues in both the US and Japan.
The pacing of the dinner was perfect and each course was beautiful in its presentation. I was dining solo and it was clear to see the rapport that the chef had with the other seven people in attendance.
I would definitely return to Nakatani on my next trip to Osaka. It's small, quaint, and truly an experience to watch the chef work.

We had a great time and enjoyed the food .
The ingredients were top quality and they were combined together to create great tasting sushi .
The chef was very nice and fun to speak with and even gave us recommendations on where to get kitchen supplies.
Overall a great experience.
