Delicious Traditional Cooking
A wonderful experience at Dedie’s traditional cooking class. It was a fantastic way to experience Sabah through its food and warm local hospitality.
Dedie was welcoming and knowledgeable. I enjoyed learning about traditional ingredients and getting hands-on in preparing the dishes. The best part was sitting down together to enjoy the meal we had prepared. Everything tasted fresh, authentic and delicious.
I would recommend Dedie’s cooking class to anyone visiting Kota Kinabalu.

Experience cooking in Sabah (also vegetarian)
During our stay in Sabah, we had to bridge some time until our connecting flight. I asked Didie on short notice if anything was available. She replied super quickly and also made a vegetarian cooking class possible for us upon request.

Fantastic experience! Highly recommend!! Dedie was great, so friendly and explained everything, she told us about the culture of Malaysia, this wasn’t just a cooking class it was so much more. Also the food was great and was great to least about different food in their culture.

Unusual dishes using ingredients specific to mackerel
Diddy the host is very friendly and helpful.
You can learn to cook using many ingredients unique to Sabah, Malaysia.
There are some ingredients that cannot be purchased in my country, but it was a fun experience because I learned local dishes that tourists can't eat easily.
After the lesson, you can also get recipes, which is great.
