Great experience, awesome guide
Fantastic experience. Philip makes you feel at ease right away. After a full day of seeing, learning and tasting, I can only recommend this tour!
If you go in september, you get to taste the grapes of the vineyards (if you’re lucky with the harvest season) and local fruits that grow all over the island.
Best price/value guide we have on the Azores if not ever.

Fantastic tour!
Our day with Phillip was fantastic! It was an amazing cross section of island and Azores history, wines, vineyards, brandy distillery, lunch at a locals restaurant, and great conversations. He is such a friendly and affable host and guide. Highly recommend!

ピコ島を満喫しました。
このツアーはブドウ園ツアーというタイトルですが、ワイナリーを訪ね歩くというより、ピコ島各所の名所や歴史などを学ぶことができるよいツアーでした。
東側の植物園からの眺めや緑の風景は印象的です。
私の国、日本から伝わったアジサイや椿などの花が咲いていてちょうどよかったです。
要所要所でワイン用のピコ島独特のブドウ畑を案内してもらい、短時間のハイキングを楽しみました。
海に面したワイナリーでの試飲を楽しみました。ここは若手が手をかけて醸造して日本にも輸出しているようです。
島のブドウ畑のあるところは悪路も多く、今回、かなりタフなランドローバーでの案内となりました。
小さな島なので、各所をゆったりと回れて、ランチも地元の港にある食堂でおいしいビュッフェとともにピコ島の白ワインをいただきました。
ガイド兼運転手のフィリップは知識も豊富で運転もうまく、安心して旅ができました。
