A highlight of our Basque Country holiday
What a great tour - it far exceeded our expectations. Our guide for the day was Asier. We can’t say enough about Asier …he is professional, friendly, funny and super-knowledgeable about Bilbao, the Basque region and history, La Rioja and wine production. He speaks perfect English and answered all of our many, many questions. We were a small group of 5 and the whole day flowed really well. Visit family owned wineries.
If you’re a wine aficionado this is a great trip, especially if your guide is Asier. He has a passion for wine and is very knowledgeable. Includes a lovely lunch as well.

Great tour, wonderful guide.
One of the best tours ever. José was a wonderful, knowledgable guide, the wineries were nice, and the comida in La Guardia was absolutely delicious. I wish we had more time to visit La Guardia. Highly recommended, small group tour.

Wonderful La Rioja Experience
We had a wonderful time exploring La Rioja with our guide, Pilar! She was very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable, sharing lots of interesting insights about the local culture and traditions.
The winery tour was very interesting, and the staff there were excellent at explaining the winemaking process. The wine tasting at Bairoggi was also a very interesting experience. We also enjoyed our short but pleasant walk around Laguardia.
