京都から電車でわずか1時間のところにある黒谷村は、800年もの間、和紙作りが続けられてきた魅力的な村です。
黒谷和紙は、楮（こうぞ）の長くて細い繊維から手作りされており、村人たちが誇りを持って受け継いできた芸術です。
このワークショップでは、地元の人々から学び、和紙の絵葉書を作る体験を通じて、彼らの習慣を体験することができます。和紙作りの後は、施設の見学もできます。
次に、甘いものを作って楽しむための立ち寄りスポットがあります。もち米をついて作る日本の伝統的な食べ物であり、お菓子でもある「餅」を体験！餅つきを体験した後は、地元の人々とおしゃべりしながら自分で作った餅を味わいましょう。
この体験を通じて、日本の田舎の知られざる一面に触れることができます。黒谷村の人々から学び、彼らが大切にしている和紙作りの習慣を体験し、地域の料理を味わいましょう。
