It was fun to create dishes that were new to me such as sushi and tempura shrimp. The master chefs show us how to cook in many different ways.

The whole cooking experience was fabulous from start to finish. It was extremely professional but they supported us through every step. The Bento provided a wonderful experience of Japanese flavours... 5 out of 5 😉

We had a great time and we are really happy to have learnt recipes that we can do at home. Our teachers were very nice and helpful.

Really enjoyed this class in Kyoto, The instructor was very friendly and spoke English very well. She answered all our questions and made the class super fun. Would definitely recommend this activity!

Our family of three consisting of myself, my 15 year old daughter and 11 year old son really enjoyed the 3 hour class. I think we would have been happy to stay even longer. The main instructor spoke great English and both the instructors were very helpful and patient with the 6 of us that participated in the class. They provided great information and background to the whole history of bento boxes. I would highly recommend this course as a great family activity on a holiday in Japan.

An amazing experience! Really yummy food and our teachers were wonderful. I very much appreciate them accomodating my gluten allergy. A highlight of our time in Kyoto.

Totally enjoyed this Bento box cooking class, highly recommend!! I thought it was interesting, fun, informative, and inclusive too. We learnt how to make very good Japanese food that we can enjoy making in the future!
