We had the best tempura meal we’ve ever had. Everything was prepared and seasoned perfectly. The batter was not what we would have expected and was light and complimented each course well. The fruit drinks were delicious. We enjoyed our conversation with the chef as well. As soon as we were done I told my friend who would be visiting Tokyo soon this was a must try meal. Would highly recommend for anyone.

I had the most delicious tempura I’ve ever tasted at Tempura Ono. Every piece is crafted to maximize the natural flavors of the ingredients, allowing you to truly savor their essence. My absolute favorite was the tempura mochi with fried small shrimp. Wrapped in fragrant shiso and crispy dried seaweed, it’s meant to be eaten by hand, creating a perfect combination of textures and flavors.

High end tempura experience with very fresh and interesting ingredients mostly from local growers. The chef, who provides a fun interactive experience, also imports some ingredients like duck from France. Worth a visit.

Very warm service from chef and team. Tempura was super light and crispy. My favourite were the scallops and the mushrooms!

Exceptional! Every dish was cooked to perfection. The prawn-mochi taco was my fave! My family loved the unagi-mushroom rice. But the rest of the dishes were equally exceptional.

They did not turn down our request for a change due to our 2 hour delay in flight. Thank you. Despite our tiredness from the journey, the chef made the meal very enjoyable. He explained each course on the tasting menu to us in detail. Since we are in the same profession, he also gave detailed information about the cultivation of the products and where they come from. He wrote us a handwritten letter of remembrance after the meal.

The food is exceptional and amazing quality. The service and hospitality of staff and chef was superior. We thoroughly enjoyed our evening at Tempura Ono.
