This was a phenomenal trip! Lupita tailored it exactly to our tastes. We were a group of eleven and are all very interested in good food and mezcal and Lupita provided exceptionally! From the excellent breakfast at La Cocina de Frida to the artisanal mezcal tasting at Yzacubi (one of the few female mezcal producers in the region), participating in the actual “cooking” of the agave at Agua De La Cuna to a superb lunch at the Michelin mention Almu, it was truly a memorable day. I think that was the highlight of my trip. There’s nothing like experiencing the intricacies of how mezcal is made. I have a whole new level of awe for the craft and tradition behind mezcal production. Lupita was amazing, I loved every minute of it.
