Our guide Bruce was very knowledgeable about the menus and the characteristics of each yakati and even back stories of the owners. It was a great evening.

We had an amazing tour with Hero and would highly recommend him. As a UK travel agent, I'm always looking for experiences that I can confidently recommend to my clients and this is definitely one of them. Hero was knowledgeable, friendly and passionate about Kyoto. He took us to two fantastic local restaurants that we would never have found on our own, giving us a real taste of authentic Kyoto. Afterward, we enjoyed a fascinating walking tour of Gion, where Hero shared the history and culture of the area, making it come alive. This was one of the highlights of our time in Kyoto. We just finished our tour with Shizuka yesterday! It was such a fun and amazing experience! It was like meeting a celebrity because we are such huge fans of her show and she was just as nice as she is on her show! We learned so much on the tour and the places that we would have never tried or never noticed on our own! This is a must try if you come to the Harajuku area! We had a blast and definitely recommend this tour! There was quite a bit of food places we stopped at so just make sure you don’t eat anything before hand and go on an empty stomach!

The Tour was great and Keigo (Guide) is very fun and nice to talk to. I can highly recommend! The food is very delicious!

Nana-san was an amazing guide who translated everything perfectly into English! The staff and faculty of Aoi seicha were very kind, generous, and explained everything in simple easy-to-understand terms. Everyone was very accommodating and I couldn’t have ask for more. Hiro gave us a fabulous food experience in downtown Kyoto and informative walking tour through the Gion district. The restaurants he selected for us were perfect, and met our challenging food restrictions :) He was also a great photographer and knew the perfect locations to take the perfect photo! Great time had at Osaka food tour. Decent, local food stops navigated by a knowledgeable guide who was equally engaging with the two kids, their mum and dad and us two random Scots who made up our group. Everyone enjoyed, and i’d recommend for sure.

We had a great time exploring the market with Hiro! It was interesting to learn about his "day job" and he took us to several great spots, including the basement of the department store where locals buy their lunches. Only noting that we stopped at one store and were told everything should be fine for our dietary restrictions, but I checked ingredients when I got home and one sauce had beef & pork in it. We should definitely have checked and do not expect Hiro to know every ingredient in all the packaged goods in the market! Just advice to future travelers to translate everything!

It was lovely to be hosted at David’s wasabi farm, I learned a lot, ate delicious wasabi and had a peaceful day. It’s a beautiful place. Thank you!

Super Great time with Bruce, he ensured the evening stayed joyful, fun and engaging! It was not awkward and he was insightful, friendly and made us feel so welcomed! His warm and knowledgable approach made the food tour amazing for my family and I. Take note, I had 3 elderly and 5 adults!
