Loved this tour! We did it at the beginning of our trip and Ryo showed us so many great food options that we could make by mixing and matching things. This was such a great tour to do! Thanks for the great ideas Ryo, that lasted us for the whole trip!
If you do one “experience” in Tokyo, this should be it!!! Ryo is the best host. Do this at the start of your trip! You will feel like a pro going forward. Highly recommend!!!
We had a great time on this tour. It was very informative and Ryo really helped us understand Japanese lifestyle as it relates to shopping for food and eating. We visited several different “kobini” and one grocery store while he shared insights on the Japanese culture. At the end he also introduced us the some interesting and tasty combinations of food items. I would recommend this tour to anyone who is interested in authentic Japanese culture and likes to try new things.
What a unique tour! Ryo was a fun and knowledgeable guide, teaching us about the store’s foods, qualities and giving several tips about hacking meals in Japanese convenience stores. We made 6 stops on the 1.5 hour tour and it prepared us for the daily trips we’ve made to these stores for breakfasts and snacks since then. Thanks, Ryo!
