Did a Shibuya food tour with Mitsoku on 4/24 and have to say it was fantastic! She was very knowledgeable and super friendly. Took us places that was hard to find if you never been here. We'll worth it and thank you Mitsy!

Amber was amazing, she really knows the places around Shibuya. We had a wonderful time, tried several foods and had the opportunity to discuss with her more about food :). She was very open to learn what we loved and made sure we go to the right places. We went for sushi, wagyu beef (the places with the inside grill - tried out several beef cuts - all delicious), octopus spheres (forgot the name of the dish) and some Japanese sweets (several kinds of mochi). We really enjoyed our food, time and Amber's company and had insightful conversations. She also recommended some other places to check out, so definetly will give those a try as well. This experience combined local Shizuoka dishes with cultural elements in a warm, relaxed setting. The hosts were friendly and communicated well in English, making it easy to follow along. The shamisen performance added a special cultural touch to the meal. The food felt homemade and rooted in the region. It works especially well when paired with other nearby sightseeing.

The food tour was amazing! Our tour guide Hamada was knowledgeable, engaging, and went out of his way so we could experience a very specific dessert we wanted to try. We had a great time and I highly recommend to anyone who wants to experience all the different foods that Tokyo has to offer.

I hired Bruce to provide a Samurai House Tour for my Father and Mother, visiting Fukuoka on a cruise-stopover. My greatest hope was satisfied, as my parents departed the tour and city with a great impression. They loved the experience and they hope to return. My father even recently expressed to me that some things had happened in his life and career that he couldn't wait to share with Bruce. You could say that my parents left with a fantastic impression. I owe Bruce and his team for taking such great care of my parents, and I am very, very thankful for his energy, the work he does, his passion, and his continued service in sharing the Japan he loves with the people who have yet to come to know it. Bruce is a well known, upstanding character in the Fukuoka expat community and I'll just say one big last humongous THANK YOU!!! Naoto was a great guide. My friend and I ended up being the only ones on the tour so it was like we had our own private tour guide. Naoto took us to eat sushi, wagu beef, takoyaki, karaage, and dorayaki. Although the food was good, I was hoping that we got to eat something different that would introduce us to a new Japanese dish/food. One of the restaurants that we went to, Gyu-Kaku, is a chain that we also have in America, which I’ve been to before so I was hoping to eat at a restaurant that I haven’t been to that was unique to Japan. This is why I gave this tour a 4 stars and not 5 stars.

We participated in the tour as a family of four, including our two children aged four and six. We thoroughly enjoyed the delicious sushi, grilled meat, and desserts, leaving us all happily full. Although our two energetic sons were a bit noisy at times, Mr. Hamada, our guide, was very kind and accommodating. It was especially appreciated that children could join for free, truly making it a kid-friendly tour. It was also excellent to learn about the halal restaurants. Experiencing the local atmosphere of Asakusa made this a memorable tour. I highly recommend it to everyone, whether you’re traveling with children or not.

The highlight of the tour was the fantastic sushi we tried—each bite was fresh, flavorful, and expertly crafted. When I mentioned that my back was hurting, he went out of his way to take us to a nearby pharmacy to get some medicine. This extra effort made all the difference and showed how much he genuinely cared about our well-being.
