Join a small exclusive group or private wine tour of two local vineyards/farms and their cellars, guided by a wine expert and learn about all the process of winemaking, from the vineyard to the bootle. Enjoy tasting three types of wine at each vineyard, while you learn more about wine flavours and how to better degustate.
Permanent guide during the entire trip
Groups of 2 to 5 people may have a shared tour. Private tour option available with an extra fee
Private visit at the vineyards and winery with your exclusive guide
Full wine tour with explanation of the making process in the vineyards and winery
Wine tasting of 3 classic wines at each winery (6 in total)
Maximum of 8 people and 3 groups for shared tours. Groups starting on 6 people get private tours.
Food at the wineries. Tapas available under request and with extra charge

Villa Alvor
Located on the north border area of Portimão and Alvor. With the big mountain of Monchique, that dominates the view when we are at the vineyards, this large property has also growing areas of cork trees, wheat fields and orange trees. In the family since 1865 and producers of grapes from a long time, this farm built their modern winery in 1999 and were the first producing certified designation of origin wines in the Algarve. In the esplanade, at the shop or at the oak barrels is visible the tradition of this family estate.

Quinta Do Frances Winery
Located north Portimão, already on Silves county. It's an exclusive wine farm production, the one located most north in the region ,right on the beginning of the Monchique Mountains. Owned by a portuguese-french couple that met at Bordeaux, where he was born and grew up surroundend by the influence of wine. They moved in the region at the beginning of the century to start this project from zero. In the slopes of Odelouca River Vlley, they planted their vineyard and built their small but well equiped winery, that also hosts a tasting room, barrels room and laboratory.

Amazing local algarve region experience
Perfect tour guide Fbio. Beautiful sights, wine is worderful and the food options are amazing. Would recommend to everybody to add the meal option. The restaurant has in great view and the food is so good.

Wonderful day at the winery.
Fabio was fabulous. His knowledge of wines and how they are made was very informative. His demeanor was very friendly and welcoming. The wineries were beautiful places. Would definitely recommend this tour.
