In this cooking class experience we will take you to not only cooking class, but also do traditional market tour (morning class only), visit local house, learn about balinese culture, life style and other unique side of bali

Our class located in the west side of ubud, the place surrounded by green area and atmosphere of a countryside. When we arrive, we will take you to visit one of traditional market tour and buy some spices from the local (morning class only), then we will take you to one of the local house to see and know more about Balinese culture, life style and how the placed the building at the house. Then we will take you to our farm to start the class, after we decided for the menu that we will cook, we will take you to explore the farm and harvest the spices that we will use during the class. after that our balinese chef will show you how to make authentic balinese food with fresh ingredients that we picked in the farm. During the class, you will learn about the techniques that used in balinese way of cooking, such as chopping and pounding spices with lesung (mortar and pestle), then the chef will explain you more about how to cook, how many ingredients that will use and what else do it need to cook based on the menu option. We have variety of menu such vegetarian and regular menu which is you could choose during the class.

An absolutely amazing cooking experience with Putri and Agung.

I don’t like cooking, but I love exploring new cultures and I find food as one of the primary ways to learn about different cultures. We opted for the 7:00am cooking class with the market tour. Our driver Aris picked us up from our hotel on time given the heavy traffic in Bali. We arrived at the market and were treated by Putri to many different known and exotic foods and fruits. A must Do class

Did this class with my spouse and our son. First our driver was amazing he was pleasant and even made a stop at our request. He answered any questions we had about local culture. The class was amazing the teacher putri was a delight, she showed us every step and and made sure we tried things along the way to ensure they fit our taste buds. She didn’t rush us. Thoroughly recommend this experience!! Truly authentic and educational.

This was such an amazing experience and would thoroughly recommend to anyone who wants an authentic Bali experience. Not only did the experience give insights on cooking Balinese food but also an insight into Balinese culture, homes and life etc. I took so much away from this experience and the people were so friendly / helpful and educational.

AMAZING COOKING CLASS

What a beautiful day. We started our day early with a visit to a food market, taste testing some different balinese fruits etc. Followed by a drive to Gusti's balinese house he shares with his family. The cooking class was a highlight of our day, and it didn't disappoint. So much fun and a lovely tasty meal to follow. Thankyou Gusti, Ron and all the other ladies on the day, for a fantastic experience. After our cooking class, Gusti took us to Swing Heaven, then back to our hotel in Seminya...daha fazla oku

Highlight of our holiday must do cooking class

A magical day visiting food market then going to beautiful Balinese house to learn about history and culture. Followed by cooking the most amazing delicious food. We then eat and enjoyed serene setting. Definitely a highlight of our trip and recommend for everyone to do next time in Bali.
