A unique private experience combining the Liquid Cretan Treasure, Extra Virgin Olive Oil with our culture, civilization, health benefits, a beautiful day at the Cretan nature, a visit to an Olive oil mill, an Olive Oil Tasting and a Cooking experience including all of the above.
We spend time at the Olive Grove, we learn about nurturing the trees, the traditions and the culture of the local people while we relax having some raki accompanied by the olives produced by the trees, under their shade.
After that we visit the Olive Mill to find out by the man in responsible of the critical points in order to produce one of the best Olive Oils in the world.
We then have a 20 minute walk through various Groves and gardens of local groceries in order to reach a family run taverna where we will learn how we taste and use olive oil and the local ingredients.
We will enjoy our fully Cretan lunch and drinks, have a conversation and answer any questions left. Products will be available to buy.

Best Teambuilding activity
We had the absolute best time on the Olive Oil Trail for our Teambuilding! Nikos was a master host who managed to captivate all 23 of us throughout the entire day. From walking through the peaceful olive groves and touring the factory to cooking local dishes and enjoying lunch under the olive trees, every detail was perfect. A truely special experience
We cannot recommend this enough! We were on our honeymoon and weren't wanting to do much other than relax, however after meeting Nikos and reading the reviews we were convinced we had to come on this tour and we are so happy we did. We learnt so much about Crete, cooking and of course Olive Oil! How the olives are grown, collected, produce olive oil, tasting and cooking with it. High quality local experience
We did the olive oil tasting/tour and culinary experience. Niko was a very knowledgeable and friendly tour guide. By the end, we not only got to understand culinary life on Crete but also left having made a new friend. Highly recommend for a close-up local experience.

Great excursion.
The excursion was wonderful. We learned a lot about olive oil and its production. Rena, Dimitris, Nikos, and Janis were great hosts.
