Join us for a unique cooking experience in the embrace of a 480-year-old historic building. The foundation stone was laid during the migration of the Moriscos from Andalusia to Chefchaouen, led by Moulay Ali bin Rashid. All the dishes that are prepared have an Andalusian-Moroccan character, inspired by the era of 1470, which was characterized by peaceful coexistence between Jews, Christians, and Muslims. Discover the vibrant tapestry of Moroccan cooking through our immersive cooking classes that promise not just a meal, but an unforgettable journey through the rich flavors and traditions of Moroccan cuisine. Immerse yourself in the lively atmosphere of Moroccan cuisine, where every dish tells a story. Learn the art of balancing flavors, mastering traditional spice blends, and creating visually stunning presentations that capture the essence of Moroccan food.

After meeting at the nearest point and checking if they have any food allergy, we choose the menu suitable for all parties (vegetarian, vegan and non-vegan) I'll start my cooking class by teaching you how to make traditional Moroccan tea, then we'll settle in for tea time and enjoy delicious Moroccan cookies and cakes as we get to know each other. The menu will consist of starters, main dishes (all will be of your choice) On the menu will be the most typical Moroccan dishes; selection of Moroccan starters + a main course + dessert I will walk you through the cooking process step by step and teach you my personal cooking technique and unique selection of herbs and spices to create the most authentic Moroccan meal you have ever tasted.

Authentic cooking experience on a rooftop in Chefchaouen

Our class with Ibrahim was a one-of-kind experience. The setting was very authentic, with stunning views while we cooked and then dined. Ibrahim is a very good teacher, and was very patient with us. The recipes were easy to follow, and the resulting food was delicious and plentiful. We highly recommend this authentic Chefchaouen experience.

Exceptional experience

Wow! I just had the best afternoon doing a private cooking class with my mom. It was incredible. I am so glad I booked a private class, it was so much more than group classes I have done in the past. This was so special and i think it is one of those memories that I will truly treasure as the years go by. We were picked up from our riad - as this was private class, they let us pick the time. An amazing life experience! Best Tagine we’ve ever made.

Ibrahim made our trip unforgettable. His hospitality and openness really put us at ease during the cooking class. The tagine was absolutely delicious, we’ve truly never eaten anything so good. All the spices perfectly blend in togheter. Ibrahim was also incredibly attentive and took all our wishes into account. We highly recommend this cooking class if you’re looking for a special and romantic experience in Chefchaouen.
