For a few hours, you’re not just visiting Sicily — you’re part of it.
With a maximum of 6 guests, our intimate experience brings you together with a real Sicilian nonna to cook her family recipes, hear her stories and discover traditions passed down through generations.
She’ll share family secrets and traditional techniques, while our host makes sure every story and cooking tip is understood.
And when the cooking ends, the "Dopopranzo" begins! We gather around the table, enjoy our homemade dishes and local wine, and share stories about food, family and life in Sicily.
Nonna will welcome you like family.
You arrive as a guest. You leave with a little piece of Sicily in your heart.

A full meal including at least one starter and one main course, or two courses, plus drinks.
What makes our experience special is its authenticity. You are not simply following a standard cooking lesson with a chef — you are learning from a real Sicilian nonna, using recipes that belong to her family and have been passed down through generations.
The experience is deliberately small, with no more than 6 guests, allowing genuine interaction rather than a large-group, commercial atmosphere.
Every class is different because every Nonna has her own recipes, stories, personality and way of cooking.
We also believe food is a way to connect cultures. While cooking, guests are encouraged to share their own traditions, memories and stories, creating a genuine exchange between people from different parts of the world.
There is no scripted performance or tourist show, just real people, real family recipes and genuine Sicilian hospitality.

Sicilian Baked Anelletti

Absolutely fantastic experience, great fun!
This was an absolutely fantastic activity and something totally different to anything we have been before, really recommended! Francesco lifted us at our apartment and took us to the terrace, were we were welcomed with nibbles and drinks before we began making a three course meal with the Sicilian Nonna! The food was lovely and the relaxing vibes throughout were excellent. Francesco is a great house and his mother was our cooker which made it even better!

Book this experience!!!!! :) There's not a shortage of cooking experiences in/around Palermo but I was really trying to find one that felt like I was cooking not only a typical Sicilian recipe (Anelletti al Forno for my experience), but also, with someone who's been cooking these recipes all their life. That Nonna touch that can't be reproduced in a commercial kitchen set-up. And Francesco was an absolute dream to coordinate with!
