What an unforgettable experience! From the moment we arrived at Chef Carlo’s beautiful villa, we were welcomed with open arms and made to feel right at home. The villa itself was absolutely spectacular, and the cooking class was truly one of the highlights of our trip. Our cooking class with Carlo was truly one of the highlights of our trip to Sicily. We visited with eight friends from the Netherlands and from the very first second, Carlo and his lovely mother and aunt made us feel incredibly welcome. We started by picking fresh ingredients from the (incredible) garden before cooking together at Carlo’s home. Everything felt so personal and authentic. An amazing, intimate experience unlike any other. Carlo welcomed us into his home as if it were ours and exceeded all expectations. Beyond the food being amazing, his hospitality was very much appreciated considering the heat we were in. Would 110% recommend this experience to anyone visiting Sicily!
This was a wonderfully intimate experience. Chef Carlo is not only an extremely experienced chef, he is very personable and an excellent teacher. The setting is beautiful, picking produce directly from the large garden that has been in his family for decades, with the sea and mountains as the backdrop. And the food was amazing, all prepared from scratch by you under the tutelage of a wonderful chef. Che bei momenti!
