In a familiar and comfortable environment I will guide you step by step to the creation of an entire 3-course Sicilian menu from starter to dessert. You will be greeted by a welcome drink and immediately afterwards you will tie on your apron to start cooking! We will begin by preparing a starter that varies with the season. Then I will reveal the tricks for making the best fresh pasta at home, starting with the dough made of water and flour, which will be topped with a great seasonal sauce that I will teach you how to prepare. We will also make together a traditional dessert according to the season such as water melon jelly or a cassatella with ricotta cheese. At the end of the preparation we will taste the dishes together with some excellent local wine.

During your stay in Palermo, we offer unique gastronomic experiences in a cozy and familiar location -located in the heart of Palermo and right in front of the Opera House- to curious tourists who want to dive into authentic Sicilian cuisine! We offers hands-on cooking lessons where you will learn how to prepare a 3-course Sicilian menù from scratch. You will learn how to prepare a Sicilian starter, a First course of fresh Sicilian pasta, and a traditional dessert. At the end of the class, we will sit down and enjoy these dishes for lunch or dinner. The menu is based on the seasonality of the ingredients, regional specialties, and family recipes. Planning a menu according to your food preferences, allergies, and restrictions is possible. Vegetarian and vegan options are available.

Amazing cooking class with special hosts!

This was an amazing cooking class! Our hosts were one of the most gracious and welcoming couples. They shared their lovely home, stories growing up cooking with grandma, and the history of dishes of Sicily. They were attentive to allergies and food we preferred not to eat and presented a menu for us to cook that was one of the best we’ve had in Sicily. This is a cooking class to be sure is on your list!

Pasta, Tradition, and Genuine Sicilian Warmth

Alice and Francesco’s Sicilian cooking class was the best part of our Palermo trip. Completely hands-on — we made pasta from scratch, eggplant polpette, and semifreddo, with Alice and Francesco explaining the history behind every dish. They welcomed us into their home, then sat down and shared dinner with us, chatting about Italian heritage and giving us great local tips. Warm, generous hosts and a truly authentic experience. Highly recommend!
