Highly Recommended

We went on a wine walk with Cedric, who was very knowledgeable and engaging about the area's history. The walk itself is not too difficult with the frequent stops for wine tasting and lunch. We did the wine tram the day before, which was fun, but you get much more out of the wine walk. I would recommend doing both if you have time.

A great way to see, and taste, Franschhoek.

What a lovely way to see Franschhoek. I highly advise you take this “tour”. We started at at 9am with a short stroll around the town with a bit of history. Then up the street to the base of the mountains where we visited 3 winery’s and tasted several wines. Then a short tuk tuk ride to Lunch which was on a lovely vineyard. and then a quick walk back to where we started. It was about 6 hours total but the time flew by and we learned a lot about SA wine and food in the region. 10 out of 10!

The best wine walk I experienced this far, wonderful hosts and very educated guides lead by Cedric , Michelle & Matthew

We started at the old church which was the most fascinating part of the tour for myself. The views were breathtaking, company & the conversations were even better . We were looked after very well by the hosts Matthew & Michelle , the Franschhoek tours will keep getting popular as the summer approaches however this walk is absolutely perfect for winter season as well ! The distances to walk was fair and we could enjoy every single vineyard for what they had to offer, the pace was very relaxed an...daha fazla oku

Fascinating walk that weaves together the natural beauty and people, food and wine stories of the Franschhoek valley.

I attended the Franschhoek Wine Walk on 06 May 2025 with colleagues in the tourism industry. Matt was a great guide, bringing the history and stories of people, wine and food of the Franschhoek valley together in a fascinating way! I have visited Franschhoek many times over the years, but have never experienced it from this unique perspective. This is a must-do tour when you visit the breath-taking-beautiful valley of Franschhoek! Keep up the great work Matt!
