Join us for a unique shared guided half day cycling tour of 15-30kms with an electric bike which takes you on an adventure through the picturesque Banhoek Valley, Stellenbosch in the heart of the Winelands. It allows the most breath-taking views of the valley while on the bike. Along the way we are stopping to taste wine at two family owned and award-winning small boutique wineries. You will have a specialist wine guide that will talk you through the wine history, seasons of the vines and the gorgeous valley you will be in. One epic adventure on a bike to see one of Stellenbosch's wine valleys. PLEASE NOTE WE HAVE NEW STARTING POINT WHICH WILL GIVE US ACCESS TO MORE ROUTES AND FURTHER BIKING DISTANCE.

Banhoek Lodge

This is the official starting point of the tour Banhoek Lodge, Helshoogte Road (R310), Stellenbosch.You also may come park your car here safely. Please arrive 15mins before the tour starts so that we can provide you with the correct sized bike, helmet and also follow protocol. The tour will start with a briefing of the tour with your wine guide for the day. This point is also the end point of the tour. The bike tour goes through private wineries and vineyards and away from traffic and main roads.

Wunderbare Tour mit dem Fahrrad durchs Weinland

Die Tour ist super und wird vom Reiseleiter individuell an die Wünsche der Gäste angepasst. Man kann unterwegs stoppen, um Weinproben zu machen oder eine längere Radtour machen. Je nach Priorität. Es werden sehr nette kleinere Weingüter angefahren. Unbedingt zu empfehlen!

A personalized wine tour

A wonderful excursion to the breathtaking wine region near Stellenbosch. The tour guide knew well and adapted the route according to personal interests. He responded to questions and was very affable. The e-bikes were very easy to use and the instruction was good.

Mein Guide was pünktlich und sehr freundlich. Das Wetter und die Umgebung ist wunderschön hier. Die Weingüter waren sehr schön und nur zu empfehlen. Das fahren mit den Fahrrädern hätte für mich deutlich länger sein können. Würde die Tour trotzdem jedem empfehlen der die Gegend nicht mit dem Auto erkunden möchte.
