We both really enjoyed this excursion so much so that we believe that it is undersold in the write up for the outing in the advertisment
What a wonderful holiday. The guides were very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful, nothing was a problem to them. I recommend the Longreach/Winton tour to all.
We had a fantastic trip up to the Darr River by train. Joe and David were both so friendly, pleasant and informative, making the day even more enjoyable. Halfway through the journey, David stopped the train and we all got out for a talk in the bush. Joe explained all about the different trees, sharing his knowledge of what they could be used for and teaching us so much about the local area. In the interest of full disclosure, we have been customers with this tour operator over many years, always experiencing a tour or dinner or show when in Longreach. This was however our first experience with the train. It was absolutely amazing , seeing the county from this perspective, the nature walk and the incredible morning tea spread by the river, all added to our memories and experience of something truly unique and special.
