+1647 fotoğrafExcellent visit and greatly updated since our last visit a decade ago. Very well organised and always good to have a free pint at the top. The restaurants also looked very good and didn’t know they were there, so a bit of research first and we might have had lunch in there. A good couple of hours going through the history of Guinness.
Throughly enjoyed visiting the Guinness Storehouse experience as my father loves a Guinness. Good value for money especially with the pint in the Gravity bar at the end of the tour. Recommend a good 2-3 hours as it is a popular place with plenty of people milling about. Definitely enjoyed my first taste of Guinness in the tasting section, don’t skip that bit!
Book in advance. There are no issues in arriving early. I believe the afternoon is less busy. Give yourself plenty of time to get to the brewery as it’s outside of the city centre (20 minute - walking) though there are plenty of buses inc no13. You won’t be disappointed. It’s a brilliant experience:- history, science, media, tasting. You can find your own way around. It’s so very very clever- really liked the water section and the advertising movies . The Guinness Tour was excellent - We thoroughly enjoyed every bit of it. There was tons to see and learn about and the tasting was fun. The bar on the top floor was lovely, bright and the views were wonderful. I would do the tour again!
Very educational about the background of the family but not overwhelming. We also lucked out and had a one hour musical show while we were there, singing and dancing
