Experiencing a Mexican hacienda offers a unique blend of history, culture, and natural beauty, creating an unforgettable journey.
Riding horses is a traditional activity that evokes the life of hacienda owners and workers from centuries past.
Colonial architecture, historical significance, scenic rides, Traditional Meals, Culinary Heritage and Farm-to-Table Experience are some of the highlitghts that make of this a unique and unforgettable experience.
Before we begin the horseback riding we will provide you with helmets and all the security rules we follow to make our rides as safe as fun.
Tips
Transportation from and to the city.
Imagine a daylong escape to the picturesque Mexican countryside in Hidalgo. The adventure begins with a scenic drive from Mexico City, transporting you through rolling hills and charming rural landscapes. Upon arrival, your culinary journey starts with a delightful regional breakfast, featuring fresh, local ingredients that showcase the flavors of Hidalgo.
After visiting each historical site of the first Hacienda the next experience is a two and a half -hour horseback ride through the serene countryside. As you trot along, you’ll be captivated by the lush, green vistas and the tranquil atmosphere.
During your ride, you’ll visit a second beautiful colonial hacienda, which offers a glimpse into Mexico's rich history and architectural heritage. These grand estate with its intricate designs and lush gardens, provide a perfect backdrop for learning about the region's past.
Lunch continues this gastronomic adventure, offering a variety of traditional dishes prepared with care and authenticity.
The day concludes with a return trip to Mexico City, leaving you refreshed and enriched by a full day of exploration and cultural immersion in the enchanting countryside of Hidalgo.

amazing!!
highlight of my mexico trip :) miguel and mauricio are the most welcoming hosts, and cesar the best chef. they are located in such a beautiful place with so much history, and the views are incredible throughout the whole ride. will come back for sure!!

A truly incredible experience
This was an all around fantastic experience! The communication with the hosts was clear and consistent from start to finish, and they went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed. Breakfast and lunch were absolutely delicious, both prepared by a chef featuring traditional cuisine of that specific area, along with freshly harvested food from their property. One of my favorite experiences in Mexico so far!
The best experience from start to finish! The horses and all of the other animals seem very well looked after. Miguel is very knowledgeable and great rider which made me feel very comfortable even though I lack riding skills. The landscape is absolutely beautiful and the horses were all really gentle which made for a lovely riding experience. Augustin’s cooking is amazing! I loved everything he made for us.
