Led by a passionate storyteller, this 5.5-hour walking tour invites you into the hidden layers of the city through vibrant immigrant neighborhoods, underground art scenes, Afro-Brazilian beats, and secret viewpoints. You’ll sample street food, explore mural covered alleys, and end the evening in a local tavern with live music and warm community vibes. This tour helps you feeling the authentic cultural layers of Lisbon, connecting to its people, and becoming part of its living story. Perfect for conscious travelers, solo adventurers, and anyone who seeks depth, diversity, and real connection. NB: Please note we will go up the Graca hill for stunning views of the city, and we will do a fair bit of walking including on stairs so a moderate physical condition is ideal for the experience. :)

Highly recommend

This was the best and most memorable activity during our trip to Lisbon! From the moment of introduction, Teddy feels like a friend. He shares tons of knowledge of Lisbon, as well as the context and history of each neighborhood and site visited. A much richer experience than any of the other tours we have been on, highly recommend you add this to your itinerary!

The tour is an incredible way to see Lisbon through a local and multiethnic lens celebrating the incredible diversity of Lisbon. Teddy is so knowledgable and really tailored the experience to all of us in the group. One of the best tours I have taken so far!

One of the most extraordinary tours I have taken so far! Teddy shows you a Lisbon that you would probably never discover on your own as a tourist. We were out and about in multicultural neighborhoods, saw great street art, tried local specialties, and visited hidden bars, rooftop terraces, viewpoints, and restaurants.
