Lima lives like a local, not a tourist. This Peruvian cooking class is guided by a certified chef at Le Cordon Bleu, who welcomes you to an authentic Peruvian home for a 100% local experience in small groups of up to 8 people. The adventure begins with a visit to a neighborhood market, where you will discover exotic fruits and fresh ingredients that you will use in your class. Then we take a traditional tuk tuk tour to the house where we will make the experience. Back in the kitchen, you will prepare with your own hands four dishes that summarize Peruvian cuisine: ceviche, stalked cause, sautéed loin and the unfailing pisco sour, while your chef shares techniques, history and the secrets behind each recipe. The experience closes big: a real Peruvian party with live music and dance. Before you go, you will receive a digital recipe for repeating dishes at home and a certificate of participation. Class 100% practical, in Spanish and English. Free cancellation up to 24 hours in advance.

Perfect cooking class

It was a really good experience. We learned some good recipies and had a lot of fun. It went longer than the 3 hours the say, but that just made it even better. The people is sweet and welcoming and make sure that you have a good time.

Amazing Cooking and Fruit Tasting Tour

Excellent cooking class and fruit tasting. We had an amazing time and we highly recommend them. Johnathon and Claudia (the chefs) had an excellent plan for this tour. We first met at an authentic local market to taste fruits. Then we had a fun little tuktuk ride to the kitchen. The kitchen was at the rooftop of a nice neighborhood in Lima. So worthed !

I loved it ! Peruvian food it’s awesome but now I feel I can cook the most iconic dishes at home! We all connected well, we made new friends, everything was well organized and the chef was very detail oriented making sure we knew every step. But the most important was that it is a real experience that gets you closer to Peruvian food culture. It was an enjoyable amd fun time in Lima :)
