It's not a demonstration, it's a real hands-on class of 3 or more hours where you will make and understand all the steps, guided by my 19-years experience in teaching. Handmade pasta is made using only the rolling pin (never talk with me about machines!) and it a real art, maybe not immediate but challenging and you will be really proud of your work.

Lunch

A minimum number of two persons is necessary. We will make handmade fresh pasta and all the other dishes from scratch in a warm and professional real kitchen. It's not a demonstration, it's a real hands-on class of 3 or more hours where you will make and understand all the steps, guided by my 15-years experience in teaching. Handmade pasta is made using only the rolling pin(never talk with me about machines!) and it is a real art, maybe not immediate but challenging and you will be really proud of your work. At the end of the class you will have learned all the tricks of the local chefs so, when back home, you can astonish your friends with your amazing cooking. You can choose all the dishes we will make so PLEASE CONTACT ME BEFORE BOOKING in order to decide together what we are going to prepare. We can make tagliatelle with ragù (bolognese sauce), tortellini, tortelloni with ricotta, ravioli, lasagne, starters, second courses and desserts. The classes are for very small groups, so everyone can try hands-on. We will work in a kitchen in a real warm Italian home. On request, before the class we can have a market tour to learn everything about typical products and make good shopping

Unique and Tasty Experience in the Heart of Bologna

Amazing experience in the heart of Bologna! This cooking class was everything we wanted and more. Ilaria was a lovely host and it was great hearing about her life and her passion for cooking. Great Experience!!

My husband and I had a great experience learning how to make tagliatelle, tortelloni and bolognese sauce. Ilaria is the best she explained the type of ingredients she uses, she demonstrated all of her techniques and she took her time and made it very enjoyable. At the end we sat down and had a wonderful lunch with everything we made! This was a very enjoyable experience!💕🇮🇹💕

Excellent experience that made me love cooking

The cooking class with Ilaria made me understand cooking. I did not like cooking before. My girlfriend pushed me to the cooking class. With the help of Ilaria I understood that cooking is more than just eating fast. She educated me that cooking is more a philosophy. She told me a lot about ingredients and the simplicity of Italian cuisine. I really enjoyed it and, by this, planted a seed in brain to learn more about cooking. Wonderful experience

We had a wonderful cooking class with Ilaria in September. We had many emails going back and forth and she was always so quick to respond. We planned this class with some friends who were in Bologna for the first time and we wanted them to have this experience. I'm so glad we chose Ilaria. She is funny and has a great personality - but she also takes her traditional cooking very serious. We had to practice using the rolling pin without dough until we got it correct.
