Welcome to our pastry shop, "Casa dos Ovos Moles em Lisboa". In a very homy way you discover how to make the divine pastel de nata from A to Z. Yes you learn how to make the puff pastry from the scratch. It´s all handmade. We promise that you can replicate the deed in your house!
You know that the recipe was created inside a monastery? We will tell you the History.
First we cook it an the end we taste the delight with a porto wine or a ginja liquer, tchim tchim!

Welcome to our Pastry Shop!
Learn how to cook the most famous portuguese pastry, the pastel de nata (custard tart). We teach all the process from the scratch, inclusive the dough, and handmade. We promise you will taste if not the best, the freshest one. It´s on your hands! :)
First we cook and in the end we taste it with a porto wine or a ginja liquer, tchim, tchim!
The Workshop takes place in Casa dos Ovos Moles, we are specialized in conventual pastry, the anciest portuguese pastry created inside the convents in the 16th century, populary known as "ovos moles" and famous by its recipes - pastel de nata, pão de ló ovar, ovos moles de aveiro, pudim abade de priscos,...dozens of divine delights.

Amazing Pastel de Nata Workshop
This was an amazing experience led by Filipa. She was extremely patient teaching everyone and made the class fun and interactive! She explained the history of the pastry and answered any questions. She was also very fun to chat with as we enjoyed the pastel de nata at the end of the class. Definitely one of the highlights of our time in Lisbon and would recommend this to anyone!

Enjoyed This Workshop
Semi-hands on experience. They are hard to make! I will never do it but I like eating them! Mostly enjoyed instructor’s cultural info on Portugal.
