In the heart of the most characteristic district of Rome, Trastevere, it is located in the basement of an 18th-century building, the Catina Fabullus. An underground cellar, obtained from the careful recovery of a cistern of the 1st century A.C., furnished with antique furniture that make this place unique. By booking this food and wine tasting, you will have the opportunity to experience an exclusive moment. During the tasting, served in an underground environment with over 2000 years of history, our staff will welcome you and tell the stories and origins of many Italian culinary delicacies. Prepare to immerse yourself in history and savor the best Italian culinary culture paired with rare and excellent wines, all produced with respect for tradition. Fabulous winery has selected for you the products recognized by the Slow Food* presidium from small artisans who preserve the tradition and history of Italian gastronomy while respecting the environment and biodiversity.

Mandatory meeting time for the experience is 5 minutes before the scheduled time
Late arrivals cannot join the group or reschedule, unless you pay for the activity again. As per "No Show" rules you will not be entitled to a refund.
The activity can suffer 10 min variation due to organizational resons
No change on a booking can be accepted after 24hrs to the starting time of the tour. In that instance, no refund will be issued.
For the safety of all guests, the tour operator reserves the right to refuse service to passengers who are intoxicated or show signs of intoxication. If, as a result, your tour is canceled, you will not be entitled to a refund.

The tasting was very...

The tasting was very well crafted for both the wines and the dishes. Guessing the different notes of the wines was really interesting. Furthermore, as someone who is a big eater, I left feeling full, which is also a good thing. I recommend it

Great Wine Tasting!

This was a wonderful tasting experience! We were hung up with traffic and ended up being a little bit later than the suggested arrival time, and the hosts could not have been more kind about it. We were shown to a table in a beautiful wine cellar room, with a spread already set out for us. They guided us through a classic tasting experience, explaining the wines and where they were from and what they best pair with. A must do for wine lovers! Located in a beautiful wine cellar, this experience is very special and you feel like you've VIP treatment all throughout due to the cellar only having 5 tables.
