Teresa cooking experiences Italia, invites you to immerse yourself in an authentic Sicilian gastronomic and cultural experience.Visiting the Point of Sale with a food expert Guide is not like visiting it independently, discover the traditions and learn to recognize the best fresh and preserved local products.

After visiting the Point of Sale, Teresa cooks three family recipes from the ground up.

You can request vegetarian recipes or cook your favorite recipe or prepare under Teresa's Guide your own pastry cake.

Teresa offers you two locations to cook and enjoy your time: via Isole Molucche (Villa) and Corso Gelone (apartment near Ortigia)

The appetizer will be typical Sicilian traditional.Vegetables, fish and local and fresh meats

Fresh pasta or arancine , or sicilian breaded with vegetables and cheese

The fresh or dry pasta with meat, vegetables or fish sauce. You can specify your preferences, I can also satisfy you with a vegetarian menu.

DESSERT

Traditional Sicilian dessert ,usually dessert with fresh ricotta

We will make a dessert with local product : ricotta, almonds or pistachio, tiramisu, rolle’, almonds cake, pistachio cake, cannoli.

The day begins at the historic Point of Sale in Ortigia, where from 8:45 to 9:45 you will explore the stalls, perfumes and products of the territory.During the walk you will discover curiosities, typical ingredients, local traditions and little secrets of Sicilian cuisine, with tasting moments and information related to the daily life of the Point of Sale. Afterwards, from 10 : 00 to 13 : 00, you will move to Teresa's house, a cozy Villa in Arenella (15 minutes drive from the Point of Sale) where the cooking lesson begins. Attention: From October 1st the lessons will be in an apartment in Corso Gelone 36. You can request an apartment cooking lesson at any time. Transportation is not included and can be arranged. At Teresa’s house you will cook three traditional Sicilian recipes, in a familiar and relaxed atmosphere, using fresh and seasonal ingredients.If you have not chosen an apartment for your holidays, Teresa recommends : Casa Veneto sea view (Ortigia) ask for information.
