An absolutely wonderful experience. Chef Yoshi and Amo are excellent hosts and teachers. The food was great, and the chef’s broth is the best I’ve ever had. My son said this was his favorite part of the trip. I absolutely recommend their class. I can’t wait to make ramen and gyoza at home!

Such a great experience!! The food was delicious (it was the best ramen we’ve had on our trip so far) and chef Yoshi and Amo were such wonderful hosts. Two of our friends ended up not feeling well and missing the experience, so they even made extra portions to bring back for them! To get straight to the point, Yuki is a fantastic cooking instructor (also a lovely person) and I would highly recommend her cooking classes to anyone interested in learning to make Japanese cuisine at home! In the ramen/gyoza class we took, Yuki walked us through the elements of the dishes we made and also highlighted what to do for different regional variations. Any questions I had (sometimes before I could ask it) she was able to answer! e.g. the purpose of different ingredients, their alternatives if you can't easily find them outside Japan, how to cook for friends with dietary requirements, etc etc. Quick note: I recommend that you bring your appetite because 1) not only is the food you make so delicious; but 2) there's a lot of it! By the end of the class, my partner and I felt very confident we could easily apply what we had learnt back home and cook for (and impress) ourselves, family and friends. Thanks again Yuki!!
