Yuka's class was fantastic! She provided cultural context on shojin ryori traditions which helped bring special meaning to our cooking. I got SO many helpful, practical tips for cooking each element of the meal that I'm so excited to replicate at home. I'm definitely planning on taking more of her classes when I return to Japan in the future.

The tea itself was absolutely exquisite. Each variety we sampled was more nuanced and flavorful than the last, with layers of aroma and taste I had never noticed before. The experience was paired with a thoughtfully prepared selection of food that complemented the teas beautifully. We had such an exceptional experience! A sincere thank you to our host, Kaoru, who thought through every detail end-to-end to ensure a seamless experience. My family and I thoroughly enjoyed every moment of it - not only the fantastic mochi lesson, but most importantly her company and the time she took to explain mochi's significance in the Japanese culture. This is the best class for anyone who loves cooking.
It is also a new and fun class for those who don't like cooking.
Also, this cafe, which hosts this tour, is very friendly and caring to everyone.
It has various souvenirs made with kome rice, and it is a very nice cafe that is eco-friendly.
I will try to make onigiri in the way they taught me.
If you go to Tokyo, Japan, you should definitely take this class.
Not only will you have fun, you can also eat your own delicious onigiri.
