The tour was amazing, delicious amazing food and drinks. Aki, the tour guida was the best. Give us a lot of nice information and very fun and friendly. I really enjoy and recommend the experience if you are in group or by solo traveling.

Aki knows Ueno, and it shows. It was a mix of new food experiences and great cultural learning. I recommend this tour to anyone wanting to eat like a local and learn more about japan in general.

Wonderful experience with Aki learning more about Japanese food and drink culture, with tons of delicious food in establishments that truly felt local. We were also super grateful for him working around a gluten sensitivity and saw that he was attentive to various food preferences amongst our group. Learned about the Ueno area and had an all around fantastic time!

Aki is a fantastic tour guide and we had a great time on the tour. He took us to several local spots that we would not have otherwise known about, and each spot had delicious food and drinks. He also gave a lot of background information about the local culture and was very knowledgeable. I highly recommend this tour!

Aki took us to a part of Tokyo I would not have seen otherwise, down narrow streets packed with restaurants and bars, some of them under the train tracks. Delicious sake, sashimi, grilled meat, ramen and a friendly and personable host. Seeing a tiny bar with friendly customers was a highlight. Come very hungry!

We enjoyed having our own personal tour guide (Keiko) to show us places we might have missed if we were on our own, especially the small shops on the quiet back roads. Good selection of food choices in Yanaka Ginza--we were stuffed at the end. We also appreciated small touches such as our guide providing a bag for our trash and hand wipes for our sticky hands. Overall, the pacing and time allotted for this tour was just right.

We had an absolutely fantastic time, exploring Ueno's food scene with Aki. He is a very entertaining and knowledgeable guide, and it was a great way to start off our trip in Japan. The food and drinks were also great.Thanks!
