Alessio and Paco were fantastic guides. They have great relationships with the shops inside Toyosu Market and shared fascinating stories about the fish, while helping us choose what we wanted to eat. They’re both fun, friendly, and very easy to talk to. After shopping, we took our fish to their restaurant, where Chef Paco cooked it for us for an amazing dining experience. Since you can’t access the market’s restricted areas on your own, this is a fantastic way to experience the real Toyosu Market and enjoy incredible seafood. Highly recommended!

I had an amazing time with Hibi! Since I was the only participant, it was a private tour. We visited several authentic local izakayas in Kichijoji that I would never have found on my own. Hibi was very friendly, knowledgeable, and easy to talk to. I learned a lot about Japanese food and drinking culture while having great and deeper conversations. I highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for an authentic local experience away from the typical tourist areas. Definitiv worth its money!

We had a lovely being with Bruce. Through him, we got to meet fellow patrons of the Yatai we visited. He was kind enough to share his take on Fukuoka and Japan, as well as the nice food we had. A very nice evening.

The tour was great! Kevin was the perfect guide. He took us to all sorts of hidden gems and we tried great food that we would not have tried otherwise. He genuinely was interested in making sure we had a great experience and clearly takes a lot of pride in living in Osaka

Shizuka was so sweet and friendly. Me and our kids was having so much fun and definitely went home with full belly. Very recommended tour! Hopefully Byfood and Shizuka will have another tour in the future (and hopefully we will have chance to join it again!).. Arigatou 🙏

Our guide Bruce was very knowledgeable about the menus and the characteristics of each yakati and even back stories of the owners. It was a great evening.

Afterward, we enjoyed a fascinating walking tour of Gion, where Hero shared the history and culture of the area, making it come alive. This was one of the highlights of our time in Kyoto. We just finished our tour with Shizuka yesterday! It was such a fun and amazing experience! It was like meeting a celebrity because we are such huge fans of her show and she was just as nice as she is on her show! We learned so much on the tour and the places that we would have never tried or never noticed on our own! This is a must try if you come to the Harajuku area! We had a blast and definitely recommend this tour! There was quite a bit of food places we stopped at so just make sure you don’t eat anything before hand and go on an empty stomach!

The Tour was great and Keigo (Guide) is very fun and nice to talk to. I can highly recommend! The food is very delicious!

Nana-san was an amazing guide who translated everything perfectly into English! The staff and faculty of Aoi seicha were very kind, generous, and explained everything in simple easy-to-understand terms. Everyone was very accommodating and I couldn’t have ask for more.
