Embark on an enriching journey from the Romantic Zone of Puerto Vallarta to the charming fishing village of Boca de Tomatlan. After a scenic boat ride, walk along tropical trails to the stunning Quimixto waterfall, where a refreshing drink awaits. Participate in a hands-on culinary workshop with local cooks to prepare ceviche and guacamole with fresh ingredients from the region. Relax on the beach or swim in calm waters before returning by boat to Boca de Tomatlan and transport back to Puerto Vallarta.

Start your day in the Romantic Zone of Puerto Vallarta. We will meet to take an urban truck (30 min) to the picturesque fishing village of Boca de Tomatlan. From there, we will sail 20 minutes in the characteristic panga boats where we will see dazzling beaches towards Quimixto, a beach surrounded by nature.
Upon arrival, we will walk 25 minutes along a tropical trail, through the picturesque village to the Quimixto waterfall, where you can cool off in its crystal clear waters and learn about the local biodiversity with our guides. We will return to the beach to participate in a traditional cooking class led by local cooks. You will learn how to prepare fresh ceviche and guacamole with regional ingredients, while enjoying a refreshing drink.
After class, relax on the beach in a bunk bed or swim in the calm waters of the bay. At the end, we will take the panga back to Boca de Tomatlan and the truck to Puerto Vallarta.

Great way to spend your day
Daniel made this experience very calm and relaxing as well as informative. He shared his knowledge of the plants, marine life and general area through out the day. Our family all enjoyed our experience and felt that Quimixto beach and falls are our favorite to visit. The Ceviches and guacamole that Oscar showed us how to make was delicious.

The perfect outing
Of all the excursions we’ve done on our trip, this was very special. Our guide Daniel is very knowledgeable about wildlife and the ecology of the area, pointing out birds and tree’s adds lots to the walk. He’s professional and a very nice guy. Swimming at the waterfall is very refreshing and lovely. The village is beautiful and peaceful. There were no vendors, or pushy people trying to sell anything. Hiking+ Biology = unforgettable adventure
They are an excellent option to start hiking, they are responsible and in addition to the tour you learn biological data. They walk at a pleasant and respectful pace for all ages and fitness. Besides meeting very interesting people and with a taste for adventure and nature. The restaurant... Delicious and very friendly.

Excellent experience
Excellent experience, a beautiful and very fun group tour, along the tour the guide gives us data of the species of flora and fauna we find along the way, the cooking workshop very well explained and the very delicious food
