A magical moment shared with Katsuji-san and his wife. He took the time—especially with the children—to explain the techniques for making sushi, and he even prepared a dish for us that he used to serve in his restaurants. I highly recommend this kind of experience. Thanks again!

An absolute 10/10 experience! The Japanese cooking class was incredible, the food was delicious, and the hosts gave us such a warm and pleasant welcome. Highly recommended!

chihiro and her friend were excellent hosts. They were cheerful, kind and patient, possessing extensive knowledge about ceremonial tea practices while also communicating impressively in english.

This experience was made super special by these wonderful and open-minded hosts! The chef is a very patient teacher, bringing you closer to the Japanese cuisine in a funny and heartfelt way. His wife is incredibly kind and forthcoming as well. We had the feeling we were cooking with our dear friends. The food was exceptionally delicious - one could feel the experience of the chef in every single bite. The beautiful notes we received when leaving will forever remind us of this incredible evening. It was an honor to be welcomed in their home! 10/10 would do it again immediately, just to be with such friendly people again. P.S.: We will be back for the massage chair anyways.

We had a wonderful time at this tea ceremony, led by Hiromi Fujiwara together with Eclat, and two of her lovely colleagues. From the moment we arrived it felt personal rather than touristy. Before the ceremony, they gave us a tour of the house and shared its history, including old photos of the family who owned it and the story of their brewing heritage. It gave real context to everything that followed. The ceremony itself was beautifully done. We went through each stage: waiting, purifying ourselves much like at a Buddhist temple, and then the ceremony. We were served sake beforehand, and sweets both before and during. Hiromi and her team explained every step clearly and guided us so we could take part rather than just watch, which made it much more meaningful. Afterwards we could choose an additional activity. We all picked calligraphy, and it was a lot of fun. Throughout, there was time to chat and get to know our hosts, who were kind and welcoming. As a final touch, they gave us our calligraphy to take home, along with matcha powder in a lovely box. A thoughtful, hands-on introduction to Japanese tea culture. Highly recommended!

This private tea ceremony was a highlight of our trip to Japan. The house and garden are lovely. The host, Naomi, shared the culture and tradition of the tea ceremony in a manner that was both respectful and accessible to visitors to Japan. We left feeling calm and refreshed. It was a fabulous experience, and definitely worth the price. The meal was artistically prepared and presented, and the server accommodated my dietary requests with substitutions once I saw the menu. The lady who performed and instructed the tea ceremony was very sweet; I can't imagine how many wagashi she has to eat every day! I will recommend to any friends who visit Tokyo.

I had an amazing time. The food, the kimono and the green tea ceremony was fantastic. Ayoko was able to share with us her Japanese culture. She was very knowledgeable. It was a great experience from the beginning to the end.

It was a great experience. The matcha was of very good quality and the two women wo made the matcha and thought us how to do it were super kind and we had much fun talking to them. One of them was also very good at talking in english, so we would recommend this for foreigners also. We also felt very safe while learning the traditions of drinking tea - the hostes thought us with patience and calm. We would absolutely do it again because the hostes and atmosphere (and of course the matcha) were so great.
