幾個世紀以來，日本在加熱和塑形金屬的藝術上不斷精進，創造出從裝飾品到實用工具和武器的各種作品，吸引着全世界的目光。
然而，沒有哪個地方能像被譽爲“刀劍之城”的關市那樣講述刀具製作的歷史，這裏生產着世界上最精緻的刀具。
在這裏，您不僅可以探索日本刀具的複雜工藝，還能親自成爲一名刀具匠人！
體驗從G. Sakai刀具博物館的鑄劍工作室開始，您將在住田和他的兄弟吉郎的親自指導下，製作屬於自己的大馬士革刀。他們結合了超過90年的工藝經驗，向您展示如何將金屬鍛造成藝術品，使其歷久彌新。
參與者將體驗傳統的日本刀具製作過程，親眼見證大馬士革刀那美麗抽象圖案的形成過程。獨立的合金層被焊接、加熱並錘打在一起，這種方法被稱爲鍛造。
這種耗時的工藝造就了獨特的刀刃圖案，將普通的刀劍變成藝術品。
當刀面拋光後，您將親手在刀上寫下自己的名字，並通過酸蝕工藝揭示大馬士革圖案。接着，您將使用傳統的磨刀石進行打磨，並通過切菜來測試它的鋒利度。
在刀具製作體驗結束後，您將參觀關市傳統鑄劍博物館，瞭解這座城市800年的刀劍製作歷史，同時欣賞展出的歷史名劍。
最後，您將在關市的一家當地餐廳享用午餐，結束這次旅程。
