Great experience, loved it

Awesome experience that we would recommand to anyone. The people there were so friendly, especially the owner. She took very good care of us and we loved talking to her. She was very patient and kind to teach us everything about ramen. So thank you so so much

We had a lovely being with Bruce. Through him, we got to meet fellow patrons of the Yatai we visited. He was kind enough to share his take on Fukuoka and Japan, as well as the nice food we had. A very nice evening.

Fumi was incredibly nice. Everything was extremely clean, neat and organized. The food was delicious and the cooking process was fun and easy. Recipes are provided at the end. Highly recommended!

Our guide Bruce was very knowledgeable about the menus and the characteristics of each yakati and even back stories of the owners. It was a great evening.

This was one of the coolest experiences I have ever had! I happened to meet the owner on Threads while posting about Japan, and learned she had a Ramen experience that took place at both her brother’s 3rd generation ramen factory and her house for dinner. We got to try their grandpa’s original ramen after flattening it and cutting it ourselves, as well as try salad, gyoza, and pork ramen soup that were all their mother’s and grand mother’s recipes. She even took care to make sure my mom’s shellfish allergy wasn’t an issue! We spent 5 hours with this kind family, had amazing and deep conversations about cultural similarities and differences, and even got to meet the family’s children, neighbor, and dogs! It was such a soulful experience and I cannot recommend enough. Might be the best experience I’ve ever had in Japan!

The tour was amazing, delicious amazing food and drinks. Aki, the tour guida was the best. Give us a lot of nice information and very fun and friendly. I really enjoy and recommend the experience if you are in group or by solo traveling.

Super Great time with Bruce, he ensured the evening stayed joyful, fun and engaging! It was not awkward and he was insightful, friendly and made us feel so welcomed! His warm and knowledgable approach made the food tour amazing for my family and I. Take note, I had 3 elderly and 5 adults! It was an amazing experience to see all of the little details that are put into making great Ramen. Each detail and step was explained to us and we were able to try each ingredient individually to give us a better idea of how it all comes together. If you are interested in understanding how a great bowl of ramen comes together this is a must do tour!

My wife, daughters and I had an amazing time. It was delicious and they were patient with my 2 year old. Definitely recommend!

it was absolutely amazing. Got a glimpse of okinawa not from a tourist's point of view but hopping from store to store like a local. Loved it.

Shu and his wife were amazing! Their energy and hospitality were next level. I learned so much about different types of ramen that I will utilize in my home batches. He's also a huge baseball fan, so more fun conversations.
