Our family had a fabulous time with Miho making sushi in Kichijoji. Miho was a kind and knowledgeable teacher, guiding us patiently as we made inside out rolls and nigiri to eat for lunch. I would highly recommend this experience and am coming back for the bento class. 5 stars! 🌟

We had a wonderful and truly unique experience at Masaho's sushi class. While eating at a sushi restaurant is great, the sushi we made ourselves tasted even more special. Masaho was incredibly kind and patient throughout the entire class. Not only did she gently guide us through the process, but she also spoke excellent English and taught us about the history of sushi and what everyday life in Japan is like. Instead of being in an office room, we made sushi in an authentic Japanese house. This gave us a wonderful glimpse into the daily life of a Japanese family. From start to finish, we had a fantastic time with Masaho. We would highly recommend this class to anyone visiting Tokyo who wants an authentic Japanese experience.

Wonderful small group experience with 8 people total. Very informative and friendly throughout. They did an exceptional job at teaching us how to actually make sushi. Many classes we’ve taken in the past have really been more hands off or pre-prepared. These ladies did an excellent job! The food was awesome with two rolls, 6 nigiri and miso soup to prepare and eat. Come hungry!

Class was good. I wish there was more hands on with preparing sushi from the start starting with rice and cutting fish. Also the class had a 2 hour slot but it was only an hour which was disappointing. Even with a decent class the instructors were extremely nice and welcoming. He had a lot of knowledge just wasn’t a 2 hour class as stated.

It was a nice experience to learn how to make nigiri sushi. However it would be nicer if we can learn how make the rice and cut the fish. Anyways we enjoyed the class.

This was an excellent experience. Nobu and Kaya were so welcoming and encouraging. Although their English is not strong, the demonstrations, visual aids and a little help from Google Translate made the communication quite reasonable. I learned a surprising amount, and much of the class wasn hands-on, including slicing and scoring squid, preparing nigiri, making cucumber maki role, and preparing Tamago. You can't become a sushi chef in 2 hours, but I feel that I left with the confidence to make simpler nigiri and rolls back home.
