Our best night in Tokyo Master Masako is a really knowledgeable chef and it has been an honour knowing her mum and grandma’s recipe She is also extremely kind and generous and goes the extra mile to make your evening a special one. And she does in a really natural way. Masako was an exceptional host! She was extremely kind and funny while providing us with 3 new Japanese cooking techniques, with a family recipe twist. We got to eat what we cooked for dinner and took the extra portion to go! We also ended with many caligraphy dedications from the master herself! I would highly recommend this experience to people wanting to learn how to cook timeless Japanese recipes (udon, tomagoyaki and tempura), while having fun conversations and getting immersed in the culture first hand. Thank you Masako!

It was a very unique and wonderful experience. Maria is a very cheerfull teacher, she was very patient with me. We made Dashi, Dashimaki Tamago (japanese rolled omelet) and Onigiri. She explained to me the importance of Dashi in the japanese cuisine. We was able to talk about lot of things about Japan. Being able to cook in the shrine is an unique experience. I was also able to get the Goshuin of this shrine by Maria. I highly recommend this experience! For the little plus, the shrine is quite peaceful, there are trees around it that make shadows, that makes it quite enjoyable even during summer.
