This was a really fun cooking class. Shu-san gave us a very detailed and entertaining explanation of the ramen-making process and we each got to construct our own bowls of ramen. He was thoughtful and brought a lot of personality to the session.

Aki's cooking class was an unforgettable experience for my wife and me. Aki wasn't just a cooking teacher, she felt like a friend. The atmosphere was incredibly warm and homely, making us feel instantly welcomed. Her expert guidance and friendly demeanor transformed the cooking process into a delightful adventure.
We particularly loved preparing yuzu-flavored fried chicken and learning about local customs. We are still in touch with Aki, sharing our culinary adventures. This experience not only enriched our cooking skills but also deepened our appreciation for Japanese culture. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Kyoto!

What a blast this class was for our family! We all had a chance to do everything and our instructors were charming, spoke English well and I wish I could remember their names! They made a great team! Our ramen lunch was the best one I’ve had yet - yes, the noodles were perfect but the broth was delicious! No Ramen, No Life! 👍👍

Had an amazing time at CHU’s ramen cooking workshop this afternoon! Everything was really well organized – a lot of the prep work was already done, so we could jump right in and start cooking without any stress.
The setup was fun and approachable, with clear instructions and a relaxed vibe throughout. There was a nice balance between learning, cooking, and just enjoying the experience. And the best part? The ramen turned out absolutely delicious – way beyond anything you’d get from an instant pack.
Highly recommend this if you’re into good food and want a fun, hands-on afternoon activity!
